I'm pretty sure it's owned by someone who intends to keep it.

He did go through periods of selling a LOT of guitars......this is it...
It is from 1989, which seems correct as it has the trem recess but the trem itself isn't recessed, it still sits above the body. This still gives the Gibson style neck angle while allowing more movement at the back.
Jackson were doing this to pretty much all their models in this time period, it's sort of a transition from non-recessed to fully recessed.

The Rosewood doesn't look so great, but it's an old school Jackson VVV, a rare guitar indeed.

Oh. That's the real deal huh? I always thought it was a fake by how some people talked about it. Maybe I got confused with the Monster geetar. Anyway, how cool is that? Wasn't this on E=Bay a few years back?

Wasn't it under two thousand dollars (US) ? WERE PEOPLE QUESTIONING IT'S AUTHENTICITY?

well make sure your not confusing this one with the red/black charvel as its been on the bay alot lately and its a bit questionable.
As you can tell by my collection I am very partial to ebony fretboards but for some reason - maybe it just goes well with this color combo, I dig the rosewood board on this VVV. Plus at least its bound which gives it a little more class.
I would be interested in this guitar if anyone has any contact info for the owner.

That guitar is like a questionable blow job to me-- Even the worst one I ever received was JUST WONDERFUL !!!!

Jacksons (as well as Les Pauls) , to me , NEED an ebony fingerboard. Still very cool and I would be proud to own it.

Maple is my fave, but I'm not averse to rosewood. There is cheap rosewood, like on lots of guitars but the stuff Jackson use on high end guitars is a step above.
There's also cheap ebony so it's all about quality. Still, that just means more for us, and if we can manage to give any future VVV's a brown tinge to the fretboard it means you won't be interested in them!!

Ha ha ha! I posted on that site twice........AND I can't even remember doing it once!!! I'm old!!! Interesting that there is blue paint underneath the purple on the back of the headstock. Maybe it was a primer coat? Who knows. It still looks ok though!

isn't this the one Ed Roman made with a jackson logo. Jackson guitars themselves said he did many copies of their guitars and faked the logo.

It is chewing at my fat ass that I cant find the info that someone dug up on the guitar.I must have been the old JC board,But im almost sure that it was not a real jackson.I bought something from this guy and I believe him to be honest.Just dont think he knows what he has and if so that is suprising seeing some of the inventory of jackson he has....

I've never heard on the Jackson board that the guitar was fake. Seen it there a few times and advertised for sale. Just seems to be around 89 with a rosewood board.
