I'm in the dark ages. I still want one of those Roland G-707's.

Yer, I'm always in the hunt for one of those Roland G-707's. Still keep their value very well.
The YouRock guitar is alright when it WORKS!!! Don't think they are built too well as my one always has problems. The neck is detachable & I think it has problems connecting it's interface to the rest of the body (were all the processing is done). And it sucks heaps & heaps of a battery life out of the 4xAAA's. You need to recharge after about 30mins of playing. Also it's $199.99 + at least $100 postage.
Also check this out if your in the market for a midi guitar.

I would use it mostly through USB where it is powered by the PC from what the video about it said. Battery life otherwise seems to suck.

Still keen to check yours out as I'm interested in it as a midi guitar first and a Guitar Hero controller second.

The link you posted doesn't seem to be for a midi guitar, more a real guitar you can play games with? That's what I got from it. Looks cool though.
