Ronnie was one of a kind. I saw the heaven and hell live at radio city dvd from a couple years ago. 67 years old when he passed and still untouchable live......there will never be another

I'm a Dio Fan and if your into tribute albums I recommend that you buy Jorn Dio. It's a tribute to Ronnie James by Jorn Lande.
It's killer stuff!

Thanks KeV, I dig tribute albums... to hear another artists take on a song is always interesting to me... They can sometimes put a cool spin on an old song... I've got to track down Kiss my Ankh also, haven't heard that for years!

Do you believe that Wendy Dio didn't have nice things to say about this ??? Jorn paid a huge tribute to Dio and was basically ridiculed by her for it.

That's very rough on her part...

she was very protective of RJD

She's sick because it was recorded when he was still alive and the record company showed the bad taste in regards to the time that they released this tribute. It's not Jorn's fault! Didn't she and Ronnie have to give their blessings for this to be released anyway if not them then their management?
However, Wendy has endured a terrible loss so I'm inclined to give her a break and ignore this as woman grieving for her man that she has lost.

Kev, You are correct to a certain extent. It is well known that her and Ronnie haven't really been a couple for a few years. She was still his manager. Still , I understand her grieving but she comes off as a sour manager with her comments that seem to be more about losing money than hurt for Ronnie.
Either way , Jorn made a tribute to his hero and did so with style and honor.
