I have been following Vinnie on and off since "Invasion"....I can honestly say I tuned out alot of the music scene for a long time. But being a guitar player myself, I started to become fascinated with guitar players who kind of disappeard (Vinnie, Jake E Lee, Vito Bratta)....

Of course when I started to dig a little with the help of the internet I came across some random and horrible things (The murder of his ex-wife, some Kiss Expo appearances. I remember the box set fiasco from dropping in on the Double V board from time to time, The return to Kiss for some songwriting, the lawsuits and Speedball Jam)...I think I also read somewhere that he was giving lessons in Nashville. (That's not in any specific order..LOL)

Can you guys just piece together what he has been doing since Vinnie Vincent Invasion ended. I don't need the super personal stuff. Just day to day, in general. What has he been doing with himself. It's sad that someone with so much talent just kind of fades away for whatever reason. Either by choice (Vito Bratta). Self Sabatoge...Legal Reasons ???

Where do you start? Vinnie has had some bad fortune & made some bad decisions over the years... There is the Ill fated box set "Archives" which never saw the light of day & should have been released back in '97.
Vinnie's last official music release was Euphoria in 1996 and two other projects "Guitars from hell (1990) & Guitarmeggedon (1996/7) were never released due to distribution issues with record companies.

Personally Vinnie has all but disappeared from the public eye & lives a life of seclusion in Nashville. He doesn't do interviews or allow photographs and does not have contact with his fans. The last known photo of Vinnie until his unfortunate mugshot was 2004 for KissWorld in Australia.

The next month ahead will be very interesting as he is launching his official forum and is also looking at launching his website Vinnievincent.com both of which used to be owned by a member of this forum. He also has his court case on June 23rd.

He was rumored to be performing at Summer namm in Nashville to promote his signature model guitar but this is now highly unlikely...
