Hosted by Eddie Trunk, Jim Florentine and Don Jamieson, THAT METAL SHOW is now a ONE HOUR roundtable talk show where legends of rock hang out and discuss their past and current projects, all the while interacting with the metal maniacs that make up our studio audience. Once again, we’ll be settling all metal arguments, trying to Stump the Trunk, and we’ll be tracking down artists who vanished from the metal scene.

THAT METAL SHOW is quite simply the only on-air destination for the greatest genre of music ever created.

NOTE- We will film 2 shows each day. You MUST stay for both show tapings. The shows this season will be a FULL HOUR, so we will be shooting for an hour and half each show! It’s twice the Metal!

(The total check in & tape time for the tapings will be approx 4-4.5 hours)

i got a strong strong sense that he is going to do it and I never think VV is going to do anything. He could pull out, but I don't think this time.

i think vv is free like a bird now. i do think Venice is somehow energising him up. I know she will not like this but I do think she has some contact with him.

Vinnie makes me real happy when he does stuff, he gets me all motivated
waiting like a little kid for the new stuff, i think he is the only one that gets me so motivated
its like christmas all over again , its the only hero that still has that power.

Looking at Ed's press release, I could only think of the big 3: Vinnie, Vito, and Jake.

It would be sick if they had all three of them on the same hour long episode. It would be the highest rated TMS ever !!!

I would prefer a full hour dedicated to Vinnie but that would never happen.

Vito owns and operates a pizzeria in Staten Island. He was on Ed's show in 2007. I recall listening to Vito field questions from Ed live on the radio. Jake just released some material so he's in the current scene relative to VV. There is no one like VV and I don't think he will do the show. He has nothing to offer. No music, no guitars to order. He was arrested in a domestic case and still has the issue of taking money for the boxed from fans. He knows Ed would touch on some, if not all of those subjects. I don't think he'd be mentally prepared by July to drive (yes drive - VV won't fly - Ed would have to send a limo) and answer questions on camera, let alone in front of a live audience. If I see Ed I'll ask him at the Kix show in NYC next month.

Michael B. just called. The show at the Iridium is going to be streamed live to millions! Gonna be a big event sponsored by Guitar World on Monday. If you're in NYC come and check it out although the first show at 8 PM is sold out I believe.
