Almost a year to the day it was first shut down, Vinnie has opened the DoubleV board down.

Vinnie, seeing as how the board has been reset, with posts cleaned up can you reset my password and send me an email with what it is please?

I've been able to post a couple of things over at DoubleV. Being positive

Sigh.....still can't sign on. Went through the "forgot password" process and now it won't take the new password

i was doublev and to control that board he had to be doublev . in the agreement we had for him to take it over, he wasn't supposed to post as doublev. I am the real doublev, he is vinnie, but he has to use that username. He could just appoint Vinnie Vincent username admin and then he would only ever need to log in as doublev to delete Vinnie Vincent.
I am not sure why he has decided to be me. I think the user name 'Vinnie Vincent' would have much more weight. I have never seen a rock star post on his own board using an alias. Why not his own name? would be more of a crowd pleaser? Nothing is simple is it?

At least I finally understand why doublev got weird right shortly before I gave up with that board; it wasn't doublev at all, lol.

funny thing is people are going to think we are the same person. its so crazy he didn't use a new user with his own name. he just likes to have everything set up so he can say actually i wasn't anything to do with the doublev board if the shit hits the fan.

about year after the dv board started vv came on. We switched and I became doublev2 . He didn't post (other than using suzieq) until he deleted me and then he started posting as Spyder. Originally he was called Chris and then he was Eric. I have all the emails from VV and his lawyer plus other stuff and collected ip's and more that most have seen. I also helped him and told him to set up the youtube account which there is 24 emails of eviednece from the day.
I am not going to go back into this, its all on this board.

As I have posted here before I prefer this board.

I have no interest in joining that forum.

After hearing all of the horror stories about this guy I have no interest in giving him any of my information.

This is especially true after hearing about all of this box set stuff.

I'm sure anything Vinnie puts out will be readily available without joining that forum.

I was especially shocked to see this portion of his most recent statement.

Wow - that seems pretty harsh.
I have seen all of the letters and whatnot on this forum and it would seem to be true that Vinnie did not come through with the box set that he charged people for.

Is there any way that you (all the people that were taken for money for the box set) cold band together and file a suit of some kind? Just wondering.

As always - I am a huge fan of Vinnie's music and hope that he puts something new out.

If you think about it, kicking or threatening to kick out any fan that doesnt fill out the profile name is mad. These are fans that he should be humbled to have yet he is happy to loose them over a name. Lost fan, lost sale, tattered image all for what? He runs his board like a middle school .

What I don't understand is why he thinks people will flock to his board to discuss things. That place used to have a plethora of information (Vinnie's equipment, histories of songs, interviews... not to mention all of Rumblefish's "Finding Vinnie" threads which were interesting). Now he's wiped it all out and expects nothing but well wishing and "favorite song" lists. Lame.

You have to either go through Spyder or Youtube OR use a different e-mail address , get in , and then state your name and intentions in a post.

The worst he can do is give you the boot.

I really believe if you show respect and show that you are being sensitive to people's feelings, that Vinnie will let you in and give you the floor.

He made a start about talking about the box set ALREADY. If someone was there to ask more questions in a polite manner WITHOUT ATTACK, maybe Vinnie would elaborate and offer the apology (or even more) that some people deserve.

What did he say about the boxset? Did he mention the heartless replies where he told people they will not get refunds?
