Jackson VVV guitars; Slaughter on the first tour stated there were only a couple of these guitars (3 to 4).
Pink VVV the first one was Emg 81 loaded, and featured a Jackson Ge1000 preamp booster.

This one may have been the light pink color from some of the early VVV photo sessions.
Silver/Purple 2 pickup with Duncan pickups.
VVV from the fanclub photosessions eventually wrapped in tape.
Ibanez VVV (seen in "Love Kills" video)
Carvin VVV (seen in "Time Of Year" and guitar video)

Amps
During VVI he used up to 8 amps at once. Amps were mic'ed at 2 or 3 points in the studio. Most the sound is a Jose Arrendondo modded Marshall with Master Volume.
Lany Aor, w/ 4x12 cabinets (both pink, and black used throughout VVI) Cabs featured V30, and Gt75s speakers.
Marshall 4x12's some with H30's.
Rented amps during VVI that could have been S.i.r. (Caswell / Levi) modded Marshalls
Jackson amp
Marshall Jcm 800 2203 with standard Jose mod with extra gain stage, and tube Fx loop
In 88 he had 2 other big box late 70's marshall. They were used as backups.
Carvin 100B seen in promo ads, and in videos but never proven to have been used otherwise.
Live on the first VVI tour a combo amp was mic'ed up behind the Pink Laney cabs. Believed to be either a Crate,or Laney.
Vinnie tried out a Mesa Boogie Colisieum amp for recording the first VVI album, but never used it.
Vinnie used various stompboxes, mostly for delay. In the studio a tape echo. He was also in an Ibanez modeling pedals ad the mentioned using the distortion, and delay.
