Hi there,
Like many others, I was in the other forum and had the same problem....
my name was Limtoy.
So, I resume, I'm a KISS fan since 1981. With KISS, I started a new hobby with the making of miniature guitars. I had the chance to meet KISS in 1988 and especially Eric CARR. I offered him a model of his drum kit that I made, I'm the KISStory book and in the KISS My Ass video.
So, About Vinnie, I hadn't the chance to meet him. Unfortunately for me, he left the KISS convention tour in 1996 before the date in Paris (I'm french). In this time, I made a guitar miniature for him. Hopefully, a close friend of him was still there and told me he could gave him when I'll be back in USA. I didn't have a lot of choice, so I decided to trust him and gave him my present to Vinnie. Some weeks later, I received a later from Vinnie.
Here's the pics.

That's cool that the guy gave it to Vinnie and even cooler that Vinnie wrote a nice note to you. Welcome to the Land of Misfit Toys !!

I was deleted and I don't why

Even God doesn't know why
Yes I made the Crazy Night drum kit. It was strange, I was only 18, I didn't speak english very well and I didn't know how to meet KISS. Finally I met KISS and spent an afternoon with Eric CARR. A fantastic guy, so kind.
I was very lucky to have a feedback from Vinnie, the letter and the picks you can see next to the guitar. He left the Convention tour very angry and I wasn't sure to be welcome. It was a fantastic surprise. I don't know if he still have it...

it could be nice.

No, it was a shock for me. In this time, we hadn't cell phone or internet. I just had the news when I arrived to the convention. Some people where very angry and it wasn't easy to have the true story.
I'm still in touch why the guy who gave the miniature guitar to Vinnie, I don't know if he knows what happen. I should ask him.

He isn't in touch with him for a long time, I asked him
About the model kit of Eric Carr drum kit, I don't. I talked with his sister and she told me bad stories about the moment after the death of Eric. Many things disapeared. I'm in contact with Bruce and Gary Corbett (KISS keyboard player and Eric's close friend), they don't know. I should ask to Gene.

Probably in Gene's warehouse! He conned, for want of a better word, promised maybe be better, that he'd look after Eric's "Rockheads" stuff and promote it and such. But it never happened! I've a letter that Eric's family wrote to Gene asking for it back! It was printed in the Australian Kiss Crazy Knights fanclub newsletter in 95' or 96'!

Wooow, this is so cool!
Very well done guitar. I love it.
The coolest thing is that you received a reply from him. The drum kit model was incredible too.
Congrats!
