I had never seen this before. It's pretty cool to see KISS when they were, well, nobodies. Crazy to listen to them play Strutter and hear just a smattering of applause at the end, haha.

Amazing clip! It's wonderful to watch that newly born KISS that would take over the world in just a few years!
I love that young and raw energy they're reflecting in this video!
This clip is awesome too! It's fun for example to hear that Paul's voice hadn't fully developed into what it was to become in the future

Hey Iceman, I think that entire gig they played that night is on YouTube. Click on that video, and the rest of the songs should be in the links on the right hand side.

I still wonder where the vids are from? From Peter Criss' wife? Who filmed it in 1973? But it's a great pice of history for me as a KISS fan..

I think Bill Aucoin would have set it up. His background was TV and filming the band was also good to watch later and learn what to do better next time.
Having Bill and Sean Delaney really helped make Kiss the band they were that we remember.

Yes! They were wise in their choice of managers!

Delaney had a massive impact on their success in the 70's
And Bill Aucoin had the foresight to see how big Kiss could potentially be!
And let's not forget Neil Bogart too because he signed them first..
Unfortunately these key figures from Kiss' early success have all passed away
