Pink Floyd Anyone???

I love this band so much, the 20 minute epics, keyboards, and David Gilmour's guitar and vocals, they have everything a prog rock band could ever need. "Wish You Were Here" is one of my favorite albums of all time and it holds a special place in my heart. Just wondering if anyone here shares the same love for this band as I do.

I really love The Wall, it's fantastic. Too bad Ezrin almost killed Kiss a few years later.

I will have to give the whole Wish You Were Here album a listen one day.

Zzzzzzzzzz

Dave's a good guitarist and singer but the music is just too "atmospheric" for me and I get bored.

I tried them out once and didn't quite make it.

I have a copy of Queen, A Night At The Opera on CD somewhere, but when you play it, it's The Wall Pink Floyd ;)
One of those little rarities i like to hold on to for some stupid reason ;)

That's cool Birnie! It could have been worse, it could have been a Queen cd but played as n' sync

Good stuff. I never saw PF, but I've seen Roger Waters. Great concert! Too bad they won't make amends.

They reformed for the G5 Summit from memory, but not since...not the actual summit itself but the Live Eight gigs that took place around the world...

Well here's a true story for ya!
Remember those big CD sell off stores that were just like a flea market with stack n stacks of CDs in boxes?
(thinking back to the 90's, i think now they were CD 2nds that people got thier hands on to sell)
Well i was excited to get the Metallica EP, the 1st garage days thing with Jump In The Fire and a couple of other songs......a cover 2 i think.
Anyway got it home, CD print was Metallica, recorded artist was Elton freegan John!
Fucking spewing!
Took it back, allowed a swap and nothing else there i wanted???
Spotted Megadeth - Rust In Peace.
I knew of them but had never heard a note.
Took it as a risk.

Wah wah wee war !

I think it was meant to be ;)
