hi every one im very sad to anounce my friend, and producer and former owner of Ct recording paul leka has died. paul produced/ recorded vinnie vincent during his years in the band HUNTER paul produced red alert ( later known as steelheart) reo speed wagon , the hitchhikers that vinnie played on ( i think) and harry chapin ( cats in the cradle )

im putting this out there in case cusano even gives a shit. sad day indeed paul was a genius he also co wrote that popular song "na na hey hey kiss him good bye" ...

a note from my close friend/ producer Vic Steffens @ horizon music group :

After a brief bout with a very aggressive cancer, producer Paul Leka passed away today. Paul was a mentor and a friend to the end. Paul started as a writer, with Na Na Hey Hey, Goodbye and Green Tambourine being his two most successful songs. As a producer he brought REO Speedwagon to Epic and produced the first two records out of his Connecticut Recording in Bridgeport CT. Leka also had hits with Harry Chapin (Cats in The Cradle) and Peter Nero (theme from summer of 42), and Angela Clemmons (Give Me just a Little More Time) He had been largely inactive the past 20 years, but had started some new projects last year. A great guy, thoroughly professional, someone i will miss everyday...

Very sorry to hear that Chris... A very good family friend of ours died of cancer this morning too...44 years old... Damn disease

Yes, the various types of cancer affect everyone.! I actually lost my "2nd mother" two weeks ago! I was mates with her eldest son and her other son was my drummer! I was over their house every weekend from mid '89 until 2 years back! Many week days too!

I KNOW 'THEY' have a cure....But why would 'THEY' release it, when you have multi nation mega corporation pharmaceutical companies pedalling their band-aid temporary fix, which is all subsided by the government (us the tax payers). The governments of the world have an aging population that they can't afford to look after. Can't look after, because they have raped & pillaged all the funds to line their own pockets. So in short, they don't want you to live too long. Just long enough so they can bleed you dry in medical expenses. They have plenty of money to rage wars & killing millions of innocent people, but don't have the funds to fix hospitals & take care of the people that vote them into government.
