the uglier the better.
i just bought a Meazzi Franco Cerri Supersonic and a Meazzi Old Jazz. Check fetishguitars.com out.

What I will say is the Meazzi 666 amp will blow any 60s Marshall out of the water plus it has built in tape delay as well as the sweetest warmest clean tone I heard. They were super scientists.

the pickups in those guitar had a special sound and they were not so powerful,so if you're using a diostorted amp you can hear all the notes clearly. Some need to be potted on, but they are nice.A friend of mine is a collector of Wandrè guitars-something that everybody should check out-Kiss fans may know the Wandrè Bikini that Ace has used for "The Elder" photsession. I've owned and played quite a few of old italian guitars.I've also owned a Binson Echorec.
I own 5 italian made tube amps and they play great.Last one is a GEM tube amp,it needs some fixing but it has a beautiful sound.
