This song was published through the German band BONFIRE in 1989 and was a big success in my country! I don't understand why KISS don't use this big tune on a KISS album. One of my favorite "KISS" songs ever

Yes Wolfi, I remember Bonfires version very well, it was good, originally recorded for the Shocker soundtrack... I'll always prefer Pauls vocals though

I'm pretty sure shocker was '89 and bonfires version only was included in the film soundtrack the same year. Kiss' version of sword & stone was intended for crazy nights...
