You've never seen the Fridays footage before? It's now also on one of the Kissology sets.

Ace extended the solo on The Oath, it's way longer than the album. This is the only time they played Elder songs live during that time, we're lucky they did the show.

They only lip synced. They also lip synced at the San Remo Festival.

Fridays is the only place they performed live, which is so lucky for us.

Never bought the Kiss DVDs! Had a lot of the old stuff on VHS and I couldn't be bothered buying now!

Back to Ace's solo...yeah, it was kinda all over the place and lousy in general.

I'm guessing Paul did all the lead work on the album, there's not much there, and he does the pull off runs in the intro, and this is what Ace came up with for live use.

He certainly did a better job on Dark Light.

Anything melodic that was ever played back in the day was played by Paul rather than Ace! Example given here.
