I was curious about the Vinnie / Kiss lawsuit , being that there are many claims or opinions that Vinnie was shafted on the whole court process's and lost only because one untimely filing among other claims that the V man was just screwed over in the whole deal.
So.... I spent about eight hours in the last week or so reading a long list court documents rulings and minuteness on all the cases involving kiss and Vinnie from from 1997 all the way to 2008

Myth's
1. Vinnie only missed one filing and court would not hear case
2. Vinnie's lawyers screwed him Vinnie had all the proof but it got rejected
3. Kiss spread rumors that Vinnie was crazy.
4. Basically it was the big evil kiss machine crushing Vinnie


Myth 1 false Vinnie missed filed so little in proof it was difficult for the court to proceed even though they gave him one opportunity after another to provide documents requested. In fact he and his lawyers were sanctioned and fined multiple times after continually wasting the courts time . He provided bogus address for Metaluna records and changed his PO box number multiple times

"But the Court is compelled to note, in case there are comparable incidents in the future, that Vincent Cusano has shown a willingness to do almost anything to avoid complying with legal requirements, and in the process he has demonstrated a total lack of trustworthiness"

Myth 2 false Vinnie had no less than ten law firms represent him at one time or another that he would terminate one after the other. He even represented him self at one point, and the documentation also lends to possibility that one or more were filed as his attorney but never agreed to take the case or were not paid.

Myth 3 false Vinne would not show for court or depositions, time after time even when order by the court, Kiss asked for a mental evaluation or drop defamation of character cause and the court had ordered it that a 3hr mental evaluation take place.. guess what he didn't show

Myth 4 false Vinnie was crushed by Vinnie, he constantly lied provided false information , refused to provide documentation, didn't show for court or depositions, changed addresses, fired lawyers at least four times, purposely file one time wasting ridicules motion after another to the point the court told him to stop or they would refuse any further actions from him. It is absolutely no wonder why everyone walked away convinced he was nuts or why he lost on all fronts and ended up close to 100,000 in debt to Kiss and almost 10,000 in sanctions and fines from the court.

Nice summation. I am already of the opinion that Vinnie is his own worst enemy in court. I read how he fired his lawyer after he was given good advice and then chose to stupidly represent himself.

After seeing all the "legalese" he comes up with in his own cease and desist demands on Youtube and also initially on DoubleV I sincerely doubt he understands what the court system really is about.

Looking into his history in the courtroom leaves little doubt he understands what's going on.

Then he complains and still thinks he's been hard done by.

That sums up it up. I bet Vinnie never went to the anger management classes either. He never has papers or anything to back up his claims. He hides address, aliases , tries to put companies in other peoples names or fake names, trademarks the samething multiple times in different names so if he declares bankrucy so he has another one protected elsewhere, creates fake friends to lie to the only small number of fans he has on his forum and boots anyone who knows anything about his past. MADNESS of the highest order.

He says everything is a lie. Even if the police make a report and a court sums it up. He will end up in serious trouble if he keeps suing kiss. He makes stuff up in his head and then sues kiss like he is a huge victim. I hope kiss ask for a mental report again some time.

I just think that most of the stuff he says has no truth in it at all. He has been proven many times over to be a liar so where does it stop and when can you believe him. Is any of the stuff he sold to hard rock real? The lyrics notes can be written at anytime. I am starting to see that he has totally lost it more than I ever thought.

also he did the bogus telephone number with tm one, it surely fits in with the fake addresses , and this guy wants people to send 10k to him for a guitar with no maker.

Ah, yes, old BOX SET bait & switch routine would be utilized to it's full potential when one pays for a $9500 guitar...that excluding freight & a case. (the scam works like this, fans fall for the bait...the boxset, the guitar, pay good hard earned money & in return, he switches the product you have paid for with ....ah, nothing but thin air...mind you it's great thin air, the best money can buy, I've heard...from VV)

once the guitar deadline passes you get a letter saying it clearly states no refunds (from a company that doesn't exist). Out of luck. Luckily no one would pay this money. Even at a quarter of the price I dont see someone trusting the guitar to work out.

Also I would like to say I think VV is a great talent, if he was due money from anyone I would hope he received it. He would not be the first musician to get screwed on royalties, and I would have loved to see in the over all paper work and minutes that he was a victim of bias, but alas it was not so.
