No love for Edgar? ... Super talented guy, I just think it would be cool seeing Vinnie play Frankenstein

It would be cool to see any of Vinnie's previous live playing. I guess Dino thinks it is not up to the standard Vinnie would set later on.

i think it was the scientology thing regarding Edgar that put me off.

i saw him on a scientology show. now i have said the word they will be after me again. I went to one meeting years ago and the shit hit the fan for a year.

According to Edgar Winter in this interview by Jason Saulnier in Dec 2009, footage of the 1979-80 tour exists, but he's not specific.

He talks about Vinnie from about 5:26 to 8:00, and is very complimenty if a bit vague.

I don't know anything about this project of Vinnie's. Who is Edgar Winter? This must have been one of Vinnie's very early projects if its before the Dave Hartman stuff. Very cool more music to find.

It's not really a Vinnie project, he was just a musician in the tour, no writing contribution I believe.

Dan Hartman is how Vinnie got the gig, Dan was in the Edgar Winter Group and wrote Free Ride
