Wouldn't it be cool if Vinnie and Jimmy Barnes recorded some tunes together. Now THAT would be a killer combination !!!!

Interesting thought from an American Rick. I can't beleive Jimmy was considered for Van Halen, that would have been crazy.
I also couldn't beleive he played with Bob Daisley and Lee Kerslake a few years ago playing classic Randy era Ozzy tunes.
Not a big fan though, like some of his 80's tunes.

Everybody seems to like JSS with Vinnie( I prefer a smoother voice with V V ) and it got me thinking about who has a rough voice but has balls and range. Put that with thinking about my Aussie buds here and I thought of Jimmy Barnes. He can still belt it out !!!
Cold Chisel kicks ass !! The 'Living Loud' project was SUPERB!!!!

I do like him in Cold Chisel, then he left and started screaming and never looked back!
I think he still has what it takes, he just needs to calm down a bit.....i mean singing a nice ballad and yelling n screaming in the middle of it doesn't seem to work for me.

Living Loud, that was it....
Jimmy is one of those people that you think has no range but he sings crazy high, but it doesn't sound like it.
Brian Johnson is the same.

Brian ,while still great and respected by me, is a shadow of his first two AC/DC albums. Jimmy still delivers with POWER.

NO! NO!, PLEASE, NO!, FOR THE LOVE OF SWEET BABY JESUS, NO!
The union would last about 5mins, Barnes-ie has a tendency of hits his band members. Cocaine....it's a hell of a drug.
Plus my west-ie cousins loved Cold Cheslie & I loved KISS & this fueled the great Dynasty wars of the 80's. Lot of blood was lives were lost & blood split to make sure those those two names would never be mentioned in the same sentence.
