All things considered....

As 2011 draws to a close and the hopes of hearing new Vinnie material, or even better quality versions of old material do not grow stronger I have been reflecting on Vinnie's body of work.
So, all things considered, we are lucky to have what we have.
One fantastic Kiss album where Vinnie helped and one brilliant Kiss album where Vinnie was instrumental in revitalizing the band further.
Two fantastic solo albums, both different but yet equally cool.
An instructional video where it's just Vinnie talking guitars and playing!!
A four track EP of material put out in the hope of bigger things to follow.
Some fans of some artists don't have this much even to go on, so it could have been worse. With the way Vinnie is in business we are very lucky to have what we have, however a small glimpse into Vinnie's musical genius it give us.
What's really missing to top it all off is a live album, though every time I think about and wish for a live album I initially have forgotten that Robert never did a show with VVI and it was Mark for both tours. I so would have loved for Robert to have played those songs live and been recorded. There's a dream that will never come true.
