vinnie was only doing it to sell that guitar. Obviously he sold it for much more in that auction. A lot for a very questionable guitar.

I've never seen this particular footage either. After watching it in its entirety I question like I have regarding other Expo's that Vinnie has appeared on stage at whether he was even connected to an amplifier. I can't hear a single note coming from his guitar so I believe he merely provided an air guitar performance at all of these shows. I will say that he appears more in to it at this performance and may have enjoyed himself a little?

I was just checking that out before I seen your post.. I was going "huh I dont think hes really playing" and from slowing down the video hes not, its like he didn't even really try to fake it or forgot how to even play the rhythm on those songs.. that's just weird why not play

At that particular point in time he probably could have still shred the walls down around those tribute guys and chose not to.

If he spends as much time on the internet as he reputably does he doesn't play at all any more.

In theotherfootage I have seen Vinnie is actually plugged in but the volume is very low so there is no point really.

In between songs he strummed the strings and it made a noise.

Not sure of specifics ,but I believe he lived a majority of his younger days in Malmo.

As far as I know, Yngwie was born and raised in Stockholm. He lived in Malmö for just a few months and played with a band called "Silver Mountain", before he moved to America in the early 1983 to become a member of "Steeler".

he did not sell it. its the one hard rock bought that i and many don't believe is the guitar he had in kiss. a few do believe it however. listen to the podcast the guy was going to buy it but he said it was not what he said it was and cheap version.

@ 11:25 in the second video... Vinnie was gonna be the Bandit! I remember reading somewhere that Gene tried using the hawk design again on Vinnie... they probably revisted the bandit makeup for that idea. The ankh was perfect though...

I just got to watch this footage all the way through that I don't recall ever seeing and Vinnie sounds very accomodating and reasonable. What happened?

If someone attempted the same thing today they would be faced with "Mr. Cusano doesn't do interviews".

The truth is if he went on Chris's Show he could clear alot of shit up and do alot of good for himself and others. I don't feel that he dodged any questions in any manner at this point in this interview.

It's because he's become more bitter and hateful over the years since then. At that time he was probably giddy cause he thought he had some chance winning against KISS in court (THE BIG PAYDAY mentality). Also with his ex-wife being murdered (which I can understand) and eventually losing ALL his KISS court appearances, he's become a bitter little man... why else would he start turning on his fans? It's kinda like you can get away with being mean to your family because they are the only ones that love you and want anything to do with you... so you know they will take it. He can't get back at Gene and Paul, so he takes it out on the fans.

Or maybe he was just on some good meds around this time?

to be honest i think he is the same. if he ever did a show which i am sure he will not, but if he did he wouldn't be their looking like he hated the situation. I am sure he would be fine. If he had a Q&A I would hope all of us would be their to ask some good unwanted questions.
I think VV drew up a black list anyway with most of us on it.
