I find it very amusing that vinnie calls the photos taken at namm as bootleg photos. Basically he is saying anyone who photos the vv guitar is a bootlegger. That would mean if you buy the guitar and play it live and a magazine used that image they have bootlegged the picture.. stupid !!!!
Also he used the so call bootleg photos that are owned by the photographer.. the only bootleger by law is vinnie. Also he used drews esp rare bird pictures again without permsisson.

The reason he doesn't show his own pictures is because he is hiding his guitar collection including toms namm guitars from creditors .

There was an ad that sandra posted on the forum of vinnie floating in the air with a guitar. He deleted before we could see it but I was able to get it before he did. He would not say why he did it. I can email it and you can post it. I can not post photos from my phone.

We have that. It's for dean markley amps from 1989. The last pro shot of him and one of the only shots post 86 without a wig.

he thinks a picture taken of him or anything of his is his ? that's crazy, it's the property of the one who took the picture . it was in public view with no restrictions.

I love to look at Vinnie's pictures and I keep them in a scrapbook. Also I hang them up in my room, but that is the only reasons why I have pictures of him.
I don't understand why that would bother him so much? Unless people are doing other things with the pictures, like selling them or something. But if a fan just has them for their personal intent perusal Then I don't see why that would be wrong?

It sold for very little. I didn't want it but I do think its the best picture if vv from the late 80s. I was going to call some people at dean markley but I have better things to do these days.

he looks so cool and "natural" in that photo. I never understood him wearing wigs because as far as I know he never went bald... I guess he never liked his flat, straight hair but it looks better than those stupid wigs. he almost looks indian with his natural hair.

Vinnie looks a bit like a young, dark haired Russell in a lot of these pictures. And that is a huge compliment because I think Russell Morris is cute too.

I like some of the wigs, but not all of them.

Vinnie is a control freak, he wants to control EVERY aspect of EVERYTHING to do with him, though he does such a bad job himself.

I never understood why he wore the wig in Gonnarock's avatar from '88... it looks just like his natural hair for cryin' out loud!

I tend to think this is Vinnie's natural hair with extensions. The bangs are a give away. How he center parts them.

I was saying in a different post to Vinnie that I don't think he needs the wig. Long hair...or even a full head of hair...isn't required fashion for rockers anymore. Natural and authentic looks give the impression that what you are doing musically isn't superficial.

yeah i agree. He has only appeared on the Treasure album with his real hair. No one photo on an album in the 80s without a wig on.

Yes the same wig that Mark St. John would wear for the Animalize back photo? Both guys had a full head of hair and both wore wigs? Vinnie I could see choosing to do so, but Gene and Paul probably tried to make Mark looks as close to Vinnie early on. The funny thing is, once curly haired Bruce came on temporarily, Mark got a perm!

My theory is the Liu and animalize wigs were owned by the hairstylist and its possible they had the same stylist on both album shoots. Just a guess.

That's a good theory, actually. They were probably working with the Howard Marks people who were probably all the same staff.
I had to wear a wig for a play once back in H.S. and I gotta tell ya, it was hot and uncomfortable. I couldn't imagine wearing it for several hours a day.

Wigs fukn suck and are hot as shit... my band Xerockx started as a full "hair band tribute" with wigs and all... after the first 6 months of having to wear those things, we quickly switched to hats or just bald heads! Plus, after you wear them awhile they get a nice stench and washing them just fucks 'em up...
