Bought a lap top and ordered a Focusrite Saffire 6 USB. Have not done any recording in 8 years. So this should be fun. Got a sony viao with a i5 6gigs of ram 650 gig hard drive. I will strip all the BS programs and it will be dedicated to just recording. Kinda jazzed.

I worked in a mid level studio in the 90s it had a really nice board. I was into all the DAWs recording early. Now it has made leaps and bounds as far as I/0 interfaces and companion software.

I really like the Focusrite products. If I was going to get a new DAW, I'd get the Focusrite Liquid Saffire 56.
