u beat me to it! love the horns on gene's costume and the feathers on paul's. now if only the crue could squeeze themselves into the shout era costumes they'd look just as cool (hell if gene's fat ass can still squeeze into spandex i'm sure vince can...)

I've always drawn a parrallel between Mick and Ace. I could've seen Mick replacing Ace in KISS in '82... even had the perfect "Spaceman" name... "Mick Mars!"

Even the same age and both very blues-influenced players.

I dig all the new outfits except Tommy. I'm so bored with the slight variations of that same costume. Ace had a lot of different looks...try something different.
Even Gene, who always does the same costumes finally has something new...and much less revealing to hide his old man gut. Even Paul is getting the hint and covering up the old man chest a little more.

Oh, and I think they all sounded good except for Eric on Dr. Love. That dude just robs that song of all it's groove.

Yes I agree about Tommy's costume. Those spikes on Gene's armor look like candy corn and Eric needs some fur or animal print somewhere on his costume. Paul has hints of purple on his feather jacket... it'd be cool if all four had their respective color added to their costume, to mix it up a bit.

OR... bring back the Dynasty/Unmasked era capes!

I think also that they need more different looks and not the old costume in a new style.
For me the Dynasty costumes were great! Paul and Gene now look very cool but the costume from Tommy and Eric are too simple...

mick mars by far my favourite crue member. i would take the creatures tour over this one but this should be good.

Yes! Bring back color-coded Dynasty/Unmasked-style costumes... with, uuuuh, less color.

Pauls costume sucks and looks gay ! Gene has a Dynasty to Destroyer thing going on, doesnt work for me. I preferred the metal spikes. Eric's looks the same and Tommy just needs something different thats for sure. He cant come up w/ anything different , come on wheres your originality ..... probably Paul and Genes doings as Tommy is just a yes man ! lol

I bet Gene's inspiration for the spikes came from Jeff Rich's spiked costume from the tribute band KISSTORY. Gene even thought this was an actual pic of himself from '79 and posted it on genesimmons.com as a lost Dynasty outfit haha!This costume looks cooler than ANYTHING Gene ever wore onstage!
