Not a fan and to me metal.. what's weird to me is they get billed with metal bands these days.

Night Ranger was somewhat big here in the states for a couple of years. Sister Christian was a really big hit. They have a few songs I really, really like but I never thought of them as a metal band. I always thought of them as a pop band that tried to "rock out". I think they kinda imploded when they did THE SECRET OF MY SUCCESS movie soundtrack. Whatever kind of "rock" edge they had kinda went out the window and they broke up after that.

Secret Of My Success was so quintessentially 80s that it's kind of hard to hate.

I never really listened to them or heard their stuff but know all about them from guitar magazines of the 80s and of course Brad playing with Ozzy after the loss of Randy.

Dudes,
I'm tripping that some of you were not aquainted with Nightranger which was one if not they most successful and commercial guitar rock bands in America in the 1980's. Brad Gillis and Jeff Watson were and absolutely amazing clash of guitar styles. Before there was Cacophony there was Nightranger!
Uncle Kev gives Nightranger from the 80's 5 Stars!

Same for me! As for Honeymoon Suite, I had one magazine interview with them and that's as much as I knew of them! Still don't think I've ever read it!

Spot on Kevin. I love King Kobra, but blind Freddy can see where KK go their Musical Direction from.

Brad's still got the nft Floyds too!!! (yeah I know I'm a broken record)
Not bad music there. I'm not a fan of the happy "rock 'n' roll" style lyric though! But that's just me.
