if anyone is interested that amazing sounding snare drum Peter used is a cob Pearl Jupiter (1973 or 1974) .

Strangely it was the exact same snare that my hero Shelly Manne used as well as Art Blakey and even more strange Stuart Copeland from the Police.

Copeland loved that snare so much that he used it his entire career and when Tama (shitty drum company) offered him a signature series snare he said it had to be an exact copy of the Pearl Jupiter that Peter used through out his Kiss career.. so the TAMA Stuart Copeland series snare is the same sound that Peter has with Kiss.. Usually the new ones are around $200
