I know this subject is getting beat to death but now more than ever I think more Gene songs are gonna have to be added to the set (or add some more tunes for Eric and Tommy to sing lead on). I don't see how Paul is gonna make it singing the majority of the set anymore, his voice is almost gone (he sounds like an old Jewish woman singing in the kitchen). It is a bit better than the New Orleans footage but it's still almost painful to listen to... I guess it's good for a man of 60 but I'm thinking about further damage to his voice if he overdoes it on tour:

It's watching shit like this and then seeing how a man like Robert Plant handles a similar situation that makes me disgusted at how self-centered and delusional Paul is. I'm sure Paul is bummed out about his voice but won't care too much after he cashes the check. A man such as Robert Plant has always been forthcoming with his limitations that have come with age and refused to take the massive payday that a Led Zeppelin reunion would generate because he felt that the legacy would be tarnished. I love that Robert is always SEARCHING. He is an ARTIST in the truest sense of the word. Who passes up a cash cow to tour with Allison Krauss ? Answer: Robert Plant ******** Who refuse to take a year off and take lessons on how to use his voice to it's ability ? You know who !
Robert Plant has always carried himself with INTEGRITY. I appreciated the fact that they reworked and tuned to fit Robert's more mature voice. Kiss is too lazy to do that.

That being said,I do have to admit that I would love to see Led Zep release that concert from the O2. Robert knew he couldn't hit the notes that he hit when he was 20 years old and sang incredibly well that night. I've enjoyed everything I've heard from the O2.

You would think he is under specialist care for his voice. He would know better than to do damage at this point.

I'll hand it to him...he is still on pitch, but it sounds like he has laryngitis, he has far less range and there just isn't the power that was once behind his voice. Paul used to sing LOUD.
I just don't understand why they are doing this to their legacy. It's going to be a full 2-year tour...if they can even make it through.

I think Paul's heart scare a couple years ago put him in overdrive... he wants to do as much as possible perhaps.
