Thought I'd ask when these new Vinnie Vincent guitars came out and people were able ton inquire about the pricing. You were sent an email that states the different guitar options, and also the option to purchase a collector's edition catalogue with the option of having the catalogue signed by Vinnie. Did anyone buy one of these catalogues? Does anyone know what I am talking about?

I know what you're talking about. The catalog was never actually produced save for a home printed copy.
The collectors edition signed by Vinnie was just overpriced but you get that.

The home made one was at NAMM last year, with the "promise" of the real ones for $50 and $150. Nobody bought one.

I think some people would've bought a copy...if it were properly printed and at a reasonable price.
But it was printed on a home color-printer and the price was CRAZY!!
C'mon Vinnie! Give us something we can actually buy!!

he has nothing. he could sell demo tapes it seems for big bucks. Knowing VV he will just copy some tapes that already exist and pass them off as demos from the 80s with some new writing on it.

...sigh...
...probably...
...and sell one as his "lucky" demo tape for a premium...

I just thought I'd ask. I was interested in one when the order form was sent out when you originally request for the info on the AZG gutiars when they first came out.
I tried my luck last month, and bought one of those catalogues. The catalogue is professionally printed not done on a home printer. I got the Catalogue signed and personalised. I just wanted to see if anyone else got one.

huh, you were asking if anyone got one and then said you have one?
if you did get one last month, then he got some made because when they first were on offer he didn't have the full color ones, only ones printed off his own copier.
As for you previous post
Do you know if anyone actually saw or bought one of them?
you did a good job of disguising you had one.
Is it the same as the online one?

Can you post some pictures? How much was it? Who did you pay the money to?
This is the first we have heard of anything from NAMM being purchased.

Yes. I totally read that post as meaning, "Golly, I would certainly think it grand if I were able to purchase the Vinnie Vincent guitar catalog but regrettably there is insufficient information concerning purchasing. Perchance one you good fellows could alleviate my quandary by elucidating the process in which one would undertake to purchase said catalog? Also, if it is of no trouble, were one of you to have hence engaged in the purchasing procedure would you please provide a detailed description of the product's quality and content?"

What interests me more than the catalog is the fact vv may have shipped something legitimatly and not just taken the cash.

No pressure. Like I say I think the catalog is no different to the online one.. what I would like to see is some emails and the envelope which are far more intersting to me. Seen as vv has such a bad rep at delivering materials/music it would be cool to see proof. If not no problem.. no pressure.

I know guys. And I am not trying to besmirch Grayskull...but you get built up so many times only to be disappointed again and again it's hard to continue to believe that something good can happen.
I'd love to see the emails. I'd love to see a scan of the catalog.

That's fine. Can any of the 2 that GraySkull sent the PM with their YouTube accounts please post a confirmation that they saw something and a description of what they saw?
To me this is just kinda lame. Nobody here is asking you to post a "re-create-able" or "downloadable" version. Just a couple of pics to see what it looks like...and possibly the emails/invoices that got the catalog to you. This reeks of the mid-90's internet when people would hoard cool KISS stuff so that they would be the only ones to have it...but post all over the place about how they had it.
I'm too old for this kind of bullshit. I'm done with this thread.

the video works fine - he's a friend - and yes he has a signed catalogue - nice to see someone actually has the balls to put their money where their mouth is - wtf would you want pix of the packaging for ? V sent it and delivered exactly what he advertised
