The fox really fit Eric Carr's face better.

Photo G above...how can you argue with that? It just looks cool. It's not incredibly literal like Peter Criss's, but has a cool design and evokes the idea of a fox. In a lot of ways I like The Fox make-up on Eric Carr better than I like The Cat make-up on Peter Criss. Gene, Paul and Ace all had "generic" designs that were not literal representations of anything and their performance put meaning into the make-up design. Peter Criss was obviously a literal representation of a cat. Eric's Fox idea lies somewhere inbetween.

The second Fox design is brilliant in how it looks like a fox snout.

Hmmm, the second fox design may just be my fave Kiss makeup... so simple and effective.

I believe Paul may have had the ankh design in the back of his mind for years because of his love of Roy Wood/Wizzard (who drew an ankh on his forehead at times).

The second one...for me...is too busy. Like the Peter make up on the first KISS album.

now that I look at it the E and F designs could've worked more as the hawk than the fox... very bird-like.
