I spoke to.some people at enigma and they said capital actually closed them down because they couldn't believe they were so dumb to give vinnie Vincent a record deal and lost so much cash on it.

The email I had from an old employee said the whole vv thing was basically the end of enigma. Capital thought they were all incompetent and wondered why they signed based on his bad rep . How totally accurate that is I don't know.

I find it hard to believe that a record label would be mothballed because of ONE artist. Now, maybe Vinnie was the straw that broke the camel's back. Meaning that they probably were struggling and the addition of Vinnie finally destroyed their final foothold.

Actially the money they put into other acts too including skull finished them off, but they didn't go bankrupt like reported.

Yeah, their bands were not flying off the shelves. Lots of well known names, but def bands that were past their selling prime. The last thing they needed was a money-siphon like Vinnie.
