I would too! They are still about. Unlike Vinnie they leave the house and actually perform.

This means Slaughter 1, Vinnie 0.

Or, Slaughter 5000, Vinnie -2000.

oh boy, the Mohegan Sun . Just lacks the feel of the old grunge bars and theatres of the 80s but i suppose Casinos are taking over.

I once thought that too but you can book a room in advance, eat. drink, see the show, gamble, drink some more and do it without the chance of hurting someone or getting a (DWI) ...Oh yeah, I left out fornicating too !!!

The last time I was there (losing money) I was wandering through one of the casinos and in the Wolf's Den (The area where the "free" bands play) was none other than Todd Rundgren....funny thing is though it was just him and an acoustic guitar...and he was playing Beatles tunes......strange...LOL

Mohegan Sun boasts 10,000 seat arena...Slaughter is playing in the Wolf Den which maybe has 150-200 seats but people sometimes line up 3 deep around the perimeter depending who's playing...it's entertaining and best of all it's FREE !!!

I saw Rundgren solo with and Electric Fender Tele (and an Ipad! thru the PA) here in Stockholm last year.
When he was on the guitar it was brilliant! great vocal delivery, when he sat down at the house Grand Piano to do ballads (like "Hello its me" etc) it was plain awful...Couldnt remember the chords, turn arounds, lyrics, had to stop and start over again etc, just utterly disappointing. It was obvious he hadnt spent time on the piano in years. He commanded the room really well though. Hope to see him shape up till next time.

He did the guitars for Bat Out Of Hell. I liked his work there. I haven't listened to his other stuff.

Dino, look up Hello It's Me, I Saw The Light, Bang On the Drum, We Gotta Get You A Woman, etc. I'm sure you will know one of those. Yes he produced Bat Out Of Hell and also replaced Ric Ocaseck in The Cars for a bit.
