I knew guitar center was in trouble, but didn't know Fender was in a mess also. I have said before that flooding the market with cheap Korean and China made guitars would bite the guitar market in the ass. The model of over saturation and and cheap product always fails in the end, only the bankers end up with any profit. Personally I cant wait for Guitar center to bite the bullet and mom and pop music stores to come back.
Fender has done nothing but bought great brands like Guild and turned them in to crap. They need to sell off all of that stuff . Dump the Korean and china made junk to pay off there debt and go with solid priced high quality guitars with a medium output, and actual real profit. before guitar center sinks and takes them with it.
