Impressive, but reminds me of when you get down to that last invader in space invaders & he is running across the screen at full blast.

A real blast from the past, I used to play this in high school 30 years ago !. Even then I was more interested in playing with girls than space invaders.

I thought the same thing too...except his version of the tune, just didn't sound right to me.
There were many spots where I was cringing thinking, that's just not right :?

This guy's attempt is much slower, at a mere 320bpm  but his notes a very articulate even at fast speeds and he doesn't just pick 20 of the same note when you should be doing a wee trill

(yeahhh, i'm a self confessed music snob  )

They are both insane! I am not familiar with the tune to know the first one was missing something.

Yer awesome players & Six degrees of separation from VV...He would have been a good replacement for Mark St John & another guitarist Gene & Paul could have disliked in retrospect.

He hates his lead tone on "Out of this World"????? WTF???!!!
It's one of the smoothest tones I can think of!!! Of course, you have to put up with Joey Tempest's oooos and ahhs in every song!

i also played the jennifer batten version on my entrance exam at the music high school "franz liszt" in weimar/germany. it's much more MUSIC that this crap! really impressive, okay, but absolutely useless. there are devinetely more uses for a dead cat than REALLY good reasons to play that fast...
