My buddy
Kevin Dugan (Michael Anthony's tech for 30 + years)was her band tech on the Def Lep/ Poison tour. I was fortunate enough to strum on the CLASSIC white BC RICH doubleneck and be in her presence briefly. She was nice enough.
Scottie Coogan (Ace Frehley, BOD, etc...) was her drummer. Cool guy.
Mitch Perry (heaven, Michael Schenker, etc...) was her guitarist. Very cool. This may sound horrible ,BUT, it looked to me that he overcame a meth problem. I ran into him years ago at Sound Image /Sound City studios in Van Nuys, California. Spoke about that and how he should have brought out his old Blade Runner guitars that he used to play.
I went to a few different shows and didn't realize until the second show that I actually toured with her bass player when I was on Ozzfest with the Deadlights. He (
Marty O'Brien) played bass in Tommy Lee's band, Methods Of Mayhem.

Hey Rick, you are so connected. I love your stories so keep them coming.
I met Lita in 1992 and she was lovely.
It can't be easy to be in the public eye and look good all the time.

If you really get in a band and truly start gigging, you'll start meeting people. I was just starting that journey when my band fell apart...but the bands we were meeting and the players we were meeting all had great stories about run-ins with local legends and close-encounters with b-list rock stars.
