I survived it! Photo taken off my veranda with my phone at total coverage. Sorry I take a picture as well as a fish does algerbra! It dropped about 3-4 deg C and most of the birds did stop making noises! It was about 20% lighter than a full moon, so it was fairly dark! The clouds parted just as it all started to happen! It was pretty cool to watch.
