Newbie Questions About The $500 VV Board

Hey All,
I just stumbled on here this week and am still trying to wrap my brain around the all of the Vinnie drama after reading some of the threads here. So did the $500 per membership board really happen? Did anyone actually pay?
Sorry if I missed the thread on this but my jaw is still on the floor after reading some of the other stuff on here.
The VV story is probably the single most fascinating rock & roll train wreck that doesn't involve drugs. - Dave

I'm new to this forum and am having a bit of trouble navigating my way through but I'm sure I'll get use to it. I have a great deal of respect for VV and am quite disgusted by people bad mouthing him not only lately but throughout his career. I'd like to find other fans who agree with me and are willing to discuss how VV has been mistreated by the media and the music industry.

No one signed up. John cook was vinnie.
Another case of vinnie thinking he is bigger than he is. Vvi were a band still building and thats what he needed or needs to do still .. build.

@metatron - no, when it comes to VV i'm not sure about anything. It sounds like John Cook and Spyder may have all the answers though. Oh yeah, and I almost forgot SusieQ.

yeah vinnie should come on here or db geek podcasts. last time vinnie came on a fan forum it was a disaster. he just has to control everything including questions you wouldn't think are offensive.
the only forum vv can run is one that he is everyone on it and maybe includes a few very scared brown nosers who will just predict what vv wants to hear.
