Back in the 60's while Vinnie was attending "Shelton Elementary School" after school he would slide down a rock formation about 100 yrds away to the "Wonder Workshop" in the basement of the local chapter of the Bridgeport Library. Vinnie had gone into great depth about this place and how much he loved it there and all the cool things that they had on display...Vinnie use to go to a quarry in Connecticut with his Dad looking for cool and different types of rocks. I private collector had donated some of his collection of various rocks/gems/crystals to the Workshop and this was right up Vinnie's alley, Vinnie loved to sit and stare a this 1 particular crystal and eventually got to meet and befriend the collector who was a nice elderly man, the gentleman invited Vinnie and his Dad to come over his house and see the rest of his private collection, when the guy heard how much Vinnie loved that 1 crystal, the gentleman gave it to Vinnie as a gift, which Vinnie claims he still has it. Cool little story and view the pictures of the workshop, you'll feel like you were right there with Vinnie !!! Good to know that Vinnie's love of crystal was developed through his family.
