Cherokee Recording Tapes

The Ass Pimple known as Brainsaw claims he has copies of the Cherokee Studios recording sessions, but he doesn't really know what's on them or where they are at. If YOU were are Vinnie Vincent fan, wouldn't you have digitized these tapes by now and cataloged what was on them. I can almost understand not "sharing" the booty with anyone else, but to have one of the holy grails of bootleg materials of one of your favorite artists and not listening to it? That just doesn't sound real to me. How about anyone else? This guy has spent what seems like hundreds of hours scouring the internet for minuscule droplets of data about Chrysalis Records' efforts to market Vinnie Vincent but doesn't listen to some highly sought after bootlegs? Just lets them sit there, atrophying and decaying? Am I the only one that thinks that is kind fucked in the head?

You'd hope they'd been transferred to digital by now! Same for those Vinnie demo cassettes that were bought on eBay a while back!

Anyone who would do that...for real...must have a saw in their brain

I also have copies of the sessions... I AM SPATACUS!
PB, I don't think Paul has a lisp...at least I don't hear it I do however think his voice sounds effeminate.

I just saw a hilarious thread and another flat out lie.... apparently now the claim is that I said I have "reel to reel" tapes from Cherokee.
Nope, never said that at all. Some of the "tapes" I have from Cherokee studios are cassette tapes dubbed there and in the Cherokee Studios (white inserts or whatever you call them).
I even replied to the guy with the Erin Grey avatar
Far out man!!!!
Can I be your best friend???? Ole pal, ole buddy!!!!
If you were Erin Grey in your prime you could =).
But seriously.... most of that stuff probably got out already via one of Marks friends or someone else.
Most of the stuff I have looks like the tapes that were sold sometime last year. They'd have Vinnie's or Dana's handwriting on them with the tracks.
Some had the 52nd Street Tape Duplication...tape case.

Yeah. My favorite artist of all time. The artist I know every detail about. The artist I know detail on when singles were released to how many radio stations on which day of which year. And then to say you have unreleased studio session recordings but that you have NO idea what's on them or even where they are at?
Complete and utter bullshit, if you ask me.
That's like saying you're a drug addict with a box full of drugs, but you've never looked in the box to see what you have.
