what do you think of this film?

me personally, it closely mirrored what i had to go thru to see kiss the first time, my mother was a church nut just short of MATMOK, trashed my posters of kiss.

and i took a road trip of 6 hours to see em.

only thing i that i didnt have to shake my wee wee or get beat up LOL.

so when i saw the movie for the first time when they got in the concert..... tears man.

even just now, i just got done watching it and that part is like a big sigh of relief.

I can relate a little but not extremely to the religious stuff as it applies to Kiss. My parents didn't like Kiss for a bit but they relented to Kiss when I came in with Slayer a couple years later

But then again I was a child of the 80s not the 70s (mostly)

I ran into him in Anaheim at the Kiss Farewell Tour. I shook his hand while saying hello. He excitedly acted as if he knew me and I had to explain that he didn't know me and that I just wanted to tell him I enjoyed the movie.
He had short hair but his mannerisms were exactly like the "character" in the film.

I wasn't too crazy about it. I saw it opening day. I thought the situations the kids got into didn't work comedically. The resolution felt uninspired. The jokes were weak. In all I think the script was weak and Gene probably rushed the movie into production before they had a great script.

The idea was good, but it could have been better.
The radio call in scene was classic!

I liked it. I was really surprised at the amount of extras on the DVD.
