He is a great player and for not knowing that type of music he did a great job.. question is why would kiss higher someone who doesnt care for the music?

That said vinnie supposedly used to tell friends that kiss sucked before he joined and I think he never really cared for the old tunes (just guessing here) . I do think he liked strutter though.

It seems like kiss recorded the solos with different players and choose the best.

He would've fit in looks-wise (looks a bit like Ace) but might've looked a little weird in the ankh makeup with the huge gap in his teeth... loved his two Creatures solos.

I think it was weird because he wasnt that kind of player. To be honest he did great for not bring a hard rock player.
