Rotten sound quality but you can see that Mark really had great technique. This was recorded in Reseda, California at the Country Club in 1986.

if mark had had a damn good producer and a better singer and maybe a good outside writer to fix some of the songs they already has the White Tiger album could have been saved. Some glimpses of good songs.

Yes, in an interview with Mark he says that Grover Jackson introduced Vinnie to him and a couple of other guys as the new guitarist in Kiss. Mark called him a "little greasy haired guy" or something to that effect. It's the same interview from 1988 with two French guys... part of the interview is on Youtube. He's really bitter and makes fun of almost every other Kiss member.

According to that interview,Mark was in the studio with Holdsworth who was recording "Road games".Jack Bruce and jeff berlin were also there.Grover jackson did come with Vinnie and said "this is the new kiss guitarist".They laughed sayng "kiss, shitty music".
Mark added"What an irony,i 've found myself in his place, two years later.(Laughs).he tried to take too much space in the group, and they were afraid i was like him"..

you can find the article there:

and in more than one interview, mark spèoke with respect about the former kiss guitarists and of Bruce too.he was alaos complimentary of Eric musical skills. He also stated that he met Vinnie a couple of times.

Mark was great, but as much as I don't agree with Vinnie's 'ethics', I must say VV was better. VV was the whole package. Think this is what separates VV from the rest of the pack. He could do it all & do it extremely well & with total class. They guy could even sing well.

Yes, Vinnie just had that "edge" that made me wanna seek out his stuff more than the other Kiss guitarist (including Ace).
