Bing xD I tend to search for any new Vinnie pics every few weeks via search engines and picture hosting sites. I'm such a scavenger.

I just went to the link and the mans name is "Steve Rosen"...has a lot of pictures of himself posing with rock stars.

Yeah I've noticed at times a certain search engine will have photos that another one doesn't, vice versa

Steve rosen did a taped interview with vin in 87. I spoke with him a few years ago.

My guess is picture is 1987 after iron maiden tour.

He said vv had guitar in lap while being interviewed. He said vv taught him some beck stuff and was an amazing player. Steve liked his less shred like playing a lot more than vvi. But you could guess that from his look.

Looked killer with his natural hair dyed black... yes, I would say 1987 when they were slowly abandoning the glam look seeing as the pink feathers earrings are still being worn.

With the whole hair thing, I wonder if now he still has his natural hair hiding under a wig or is he bald? I liked his natural hair, dont know why he always hid it.

if vv had not worn a wig in VVI I assure you they would have sold more records and VV would have been taken more seriously. His real hair is so so so much better than that Tina Turner wig.

Exactly. I remembered this picture from years ago and being excited that Vinnie was in the studio.

The guirar world pic is 100% 1987. Lates 87 infact. It was when steve rosen conducted the interview which was 87.

Check out Dana in the studio picture. His hair isn't frosted yet.
Vinnie had that interview in GW in March 1987. That interview was conducted WELL BEFORE that.

Rosen did a taped interview that came out on cassette by mail order that was done in 87. Yes its possible this is an earlier meeting with rosen. I will email him the photo and see what he says.
I still believe 87. I saw a pic of him in 88 with real hair and it was just as long as that. Also he was wearing that red jacket in 87 and 88 .
Regarding the gw interview rosen talks abour that on the cassette. Vv was really pissed about it.

But I could be wrong but I still am going with it.

Rick you maybe right. The ear ring is same as pre release of vvi.

Were they done by REH? I remember ads for the interview cassettes back in the 80s guitar mags. I seem to remember them as part of the REH catalogue though?

I think that was all juat for the stage :p off stage hes always wearing some sort of red...seen him in red high heeled boots in some pics
