Quite possibly.

I've said before, Animal was definitely recorded with a guitar with a front pickup as there is no other way to hit the high A at the end on the outro solo but to push the string down onto a pole piece!

And to hazard a guess, the infamous "set fire then pissed on it" guitar, I guess would have been one of the Rhoads? Not sure anyone would do that to a guitar you JUST received that was custom made just for you! IMO

He said in an interview he even used the randy v's for rhythm work on asg.
