Looks pretty cool, I think I'll get one. Anybody got any opinions on it?

No....
The stupid auction finished in the middle of the night. I wasn't super keen to be awake so threw a bid on and was outbid.
Didn't really need it anyhow, but like Jackson stuff.

I haven't bought it yet but am looking at reviews.
Some love it, say it's great and they were recording guitar/vocals with ease.
Others say it doesn't record guitar direct very well, mics don't work with it (condenser ones) and the jacks are a funny size.
Not sure if I should get it or not. Comes with a lite version of the software, but I could get the full one day.
I currently have Ntrack Studio installed on a pc but rarely use it, but plan to one day when the kiddie is older. To use that I go through something like a POD XT Live into my soundcard.
This seems like a good interface. Maybe.

Whoa, that's a bit over the top for m needs. I have gotten by with just plugging into my sound card, not that I've even played around with that much, but I test that it works in the hopes one day I'll much around with it.
I guess I just like having the option/ability to record. Really it's just been very handy to play into the pc to learn/practice songs. So much better then the old days.
