i've seen tribute KISS bands for all eras.....excluding the elder and creatures era....what gives? you'd think this is something people would be interested in replicating because A) theres a bit of a spike and popularity of those two albums/periods. and B ) theyre easy and cheap to make costume wise.
also, the stage show would be very cost effective
could it be that no one can find someone to play the vinnie material like he does? just saying.........

Stefan here is playing Vinnie in an upcoming Kiss tribute band and Kisstrooper actually built a tank replica for his old Kiss tribute band.

No, material from COT wasnt really hard to play I tkink because it was his first album with KISS, Paul and Gene was saying to him how to play and how not to. So he really didnt have a chance to show his real abilities. On the one hand it was good couse it wasnt really hard to play and was pretty repetitive even VInnie play most of the solo parts as same as the album tracks goes but on the other hand it wasnt style which VInnie presnet in VVI. You have to also remeber that Vinnie wasnt playing all of the songs of the COT album and some song are grossly easier than others cause Gene and Paul were auditioning many guitarist which I think was needless while they had Vinnie.

I meant a simple song as a single from each album. The others were not nearly as easy to play. I can play the three songs mentioned, and I used to in my Kiss covers band.
Heavens on Fire=yes.
I've Had Enough=no.
