I'm New to the forum, but I am a sincere Vinnie Vincent Fan.
I sometimes wonder why Vinnie doesn't try and come out with anything, or at least show himself in some way to his fans. However, I am sure that Vinnie has his reasons. Only Vinnie knows what's going on in Vinnie's life. I wish him the best, and regardless if we ever hear anything of him, I hope he has a good life and is able to come to terms with whatever problems he has. I have many personal probles, as all humans have. They may or may not compare to Vinnie's problems, but I can relate with some of the things one goes through in life, and how it will dictate one's actions. Regardless of whatever some people think towards Vinnie, he will always be a source of inspiration to me. I've even decided to write a book about him; I'm only in the beginning process. I'd be happy to chat with anyone about Vinnie Vincent info, or just nonchelant chat.

I think almost the exact same way you do about Vinnie. I'd love to hear from him and how he's doing...even get to hear some new licks. But if that never happens, I will respect his wishes. Although, even if he never made new music, showing his face would make me very happy. I care about him, ya know? I want to see him doing well and be out and about instead of sitting at home.
But whatever Vinnie's gonna do is what he's gonna do he sounds pretty hard headed! And congrats on starting a book about him. Im sure he'd be ecstatic to hear a book about just him. Ill be interested in buying it

It will be a biography of sorts, yes. A bio in the fact that it will cover the span of his life, although some parts of his life may have more focus than others, since there isn't exactly a plethora of info to go by. It will be a little experimental, sort of my journey to find the journey of Vincent, if that makes any sense; my inspiration to write it, how i gathered material expand on, etc. Like I said, its still in its beginning stages, but i'm very serious about my writing.

I think your book will be great.
Personally I would like to read interviews with vv going through his career and especially technical stuff. I know vv booted people for asking what inspired him in songs (maybe they accidently hit a sore point) but certainly a run down on technical aspects of tunes/instruments would be great. Also hearing his unique take on things would be cool.

I'll definately do what I can to include as much of Vinnie's own take on things. I haven't spoken directly to him, but God willing, as i get further along with the book I'll be able to pull a few strings. All due respect to Vinnie of course; this book is a tribute to his life and career. If anyone knows any good source material, please let me know, and I'm also trying to come up with a catchy title. If anyone has an Idea, please tell me; I'll give all due credit if I decide to use it. Please keep in mind with a title, I don't want to insinuate any kind of explitive phrase, like "Kiss My Ankh." Please let me know guys,
