i really only have one question.....


when kiss brought in rick derringer to play the exciter solo.........what do they/ did they do? did he play the solo using vinnie's gear? did he purposely play it like him? we all know derringer doesnt really sound like vinnie on the guitar......



same question with the elder stuff since paul played the solos...did he just use ace's les paul or what? alot of the stuff just doesnt seem to be played using his own(paul's) guitars.



less noticable was jean bouvier who seemingly played the bass better than gene

Anybody played the bass better than Gene! Even he said so cause it meant he didn't have to play, the lazy boy.

I am guessing they uses their own equipment and set it up to sound like the rest is the album.

The sad thing is that Gene can actually play a mean bass .

That is one good thing about the last few Kiss albums. He was forced to play .

LOL! jean bouvier played on at least an albums worth of kiss songs instead of gene and its amazing no one ever knew.



since u said that, it now explains why creatures sounded like it was recorded by four people.

I like the creatures session players a lot but a kiss fan wants to know who is playing what in my opinion.

i think too much time has passed for them to "remember" correctly OR they're waiting for more interest or money to be drummed up to "make them remember" that era.



i know for awhile they couldnt say who was on it because of the contract with mercury universal

but now, the cats outta the bag....and they claim bad memories..............



which alos has me wondering if i took my creatures cd to all the players who supposedly played on it, would they sign it if asked?


i know i was THIS close to taking my psycho circus cd book and having tommy sign it...but i didnt wanna get escorted out or worse.
