Quite a bad show I know that he is old and drunk but what I think is that he shouldnt play any solos anymore he just suck. Its really embarassing watching his "skills" from 43 minute why did he do that its almost like Paul Stanley solos back in the 70's ? Thats why Im probably a fan of Vinnie not him:D Am I only thinking that the orginal KISS members wasnt realy good musicians?

Sometimes attitude and style is more than enough. When you have the right concoction, talent doesn't matter as much.

Vinnie had the trifecta.

You know I forgot about todays radio music. I agree with you cause in those days there is not much musicians who have all that 3 pieces.

Just another old musician attempting to continue going about his younger years. I like Ace but there comes a point when you need to stop.

It seems like the same Ace to me . For better or worse. Take it or leave it.
The only sad part is that it looks like he isn't enjoying himself.


His playing is still a beautiful slopfest. Case in point:

What I think is especially sad is that he is clean and sober and can't play this well anymore.

Needs to be slop drunk to play good...just how some people are.

or... maybe the drinks have to be balanced out with many 'bumps' of cocaine... to 'level things out'.

anyway, i've always thought the kiss original lineup were fairly good musicians. more than that, they were a great band. ace's vibrato alone will always 'do it' for me... ymmv

i don't know about this new ace stuff, one way or the other. the original kiss stuff will always be great.

'be that as it may', it would be cool to hear/see this new ace band with a pro-shot recording. a guy with a cam in the audience doesn't quite do it justice.

anyway, all kidding aside; hopefully ace doesn't jump off the wagon in order to try and re-capture his glory days. it's cool that he's not 'using' any more.

I am happy ace is out there playing. Its likw the embarrassing uncle you love to hate but you are happy he is around.

his gig in munich some years ago was the most unprofessional concert i've ever attended .

An Ace / Vinnie Tour would be good for the both of them... ... and also show who is the real deal.

He played london a few years ago and was an hour late and the venue had a curfew so he only played like 40 mins.

Too bad Ace hates Vinnie lol

This!!!! He made Kiss late on their Farewell Tour the 2nd night in Sydney, the only show I saw. There was a curfew so we didn't get the cool medley we had heard about. Thanks Ace!!!!
