Still in AWE from one of the most incredible nights of music I've witnessed in a long time. Yesterday &Today, better known as Y&T, played the new Tap House in Akron, Ohio last night and for 2 hours and 20 minutes on stage, OWNED everyone.
Each song was performed flawlessly. The band is TIGHT, I MEAN REALLY FUCKING TIGHT !!!! The kind of tight where they can stop on a dime without looking at each other or hearing a count. These fuckers were downright telepathic.
Meniketti is the definition of PROFESSIONAL. Effortless, heartfelt, passionate, and energetic.
He is 59 years old and delivers a show that 20 year old musicians cannot possibly deliver.
He had an endless delivery of musical ideas and chops BOTH on guitar and vocally. I dare say that he is one of the best musicians I have had the honor of seeing play and meeting.
While we were in line to meet him, Dave started to sing his vocal from the Hear-N-Aid song, "We're Stars".
His voice was still perfectly in tact.
The first thing I said to him was that, he is an inspiration and a kick in the balls at the same moment.

You and Freddy you buggars, Rick! Now I'm gonna have to take a listen to Y&T! I only knew Mean Streak cause of the video for it.
