If you watch closely during R&R All Nite, there's a moment when Gene walks up to VV on one of the risers on the side of the stage and says something in VV's ear. Vinnie shakes his head now and says something back with a very pissed off look on his face and Gene walks off. Wonder if Gene was telling him to stop upstaging them.

I believe that Vinnie, knowing his own worth, was pissed that they kept trying to get Ace back during the tour and stood up to them every time they gave him shit.

History proves, as far as musically (which G&P don't give two shits about any longer) , that Kiss fucked up royally without Vinnie's talents live and in the studio.

you would think that vv would have towed the line on creatures tour. i didn't hear of many problems on that tour but maybe.
