So after putting the 87 strat plus together I decided it wasn't for me and rolled it over for a tidy profit... And like a good musician with money in his pocket I decided I needed a new amp.. So I ordered a Marshall 205h from sweetwater they matched a 10% off sale going on at another vendor so Cool right ... Not cool, they sent me a used one when I clearly stated I do not want a reboxed head... I did take the time to check it out four a couple hours though before I shipped it back.

And it was most disappointing, harsh distortion and treble that couldn't be dialed out, no definition of notes. And that Marshall sustain was no where to be found. UGH !! The only thing that was cool was it had a nice clean channel.

Its quite possible thats why it was used in the first place but I decided not to take a chance on another one. And I wont give a vender that does a bait and switch a second at bat.

So I ordered a Blackstar Series one 50 from AMS my old stand by store

I love the older Marshalls , but wanted some modern choices with switching and drive channels most of the reviews on the JVM series were good, the ones that didn't like it basically said the same thing I found. It was the only amp in a long time that I truly didnt like 95% of it.
