Central High Librarian Part #1

Here's a little story...About 2 years ago on Vinnie's Forum, I was posting a lot of photos of Bridgeport, Conn for Vinnie...he said he would do "anything" to see a picture of his beloved Shelton School, so off to find the school I went, Vinnie was very appreciative and in his response's he would go into great detail rehashing all the memories and the happiness that the school and a certain teacher brought to him. One day I got this idea and called the Librarian at Central High School and asked her if they had any old yearbooks...I told her the years 1966-1970 and she put me on hold and went to the vault. A few minutes went by and she said "Yes" I do have them, would you like to come down and look at them...I said yes and raced to the school, signed in and made my way to the Library, she was waiting for me and had them all on a table for me, though I didn't really tell her the mission I was on, I told her...it's just for a friend's 60th surprise birthday party (next year)...The librarian eventually figured it out and said "Hey I remember Him" because I graduated in 1971 !!! She was really cool and I hung out there for about 3 hours searching for Vinnie's high school day photos ! She scanned the photos and sent them to my e-mail...I really couldn't have done it without her. That evening, I e-mailed Vinnie and posted 2 of the 4 pictures...I wish I could have seen the look on his face, it must have really hit home...

It's so hard to imagine that kid was going to become the Pyro Messiah and shred all over the 80's music scene.
